Our favourite rain jackets from ‘Good’ and ‘Great’ rated brands
Rain. We love to hate it and hate to love it. On the one hand, it waters our gardens and fills our water tanks. On the other, it makes driving a pain and puts a damper on most outdoor activities we might have planned. If you’ve ever been camping in the rain, you know the struggle. Pros and cons aside, sometimes we can’t just curl up on the couch with a good book and wait out the storm: we have to get amongst it. Traditionally, rain jackets can be made from some pretty harmful materials like virgin polyester and nylon. More ethical and sustainable versions are often made from recycled PET plastic or nylon, but waxed cotton canvas is also effective.
