And today we’re launching a brand new feature to give you even more power!
We know a lot of you want to support your communities at home, as well as minimise the monetary and environmental costs of shipping by shopping locally.
The truth is, getting clothes from A to B is a huge contributor to pollution in the fashion industry. So when we buy locally, we’re not only investing in our home country, we’re also helping reduce some of the carbon emissions produced. Buying locally made clothes has the added bonus of increasing accountability, especially when it comes to labour standards, payment of a living wage, or animal welfare.
But finding local, sustainable brands to shop from is not as easy as it seems—until now.
That’s right—you asked, we delivered—you can now find and shop from sustainable brands near you thanks to our new location filter!
Available on both the Good On You app and web directory, you can browse and discover brands based on your region and country.
Simply select a category, like Denim or Dresses, then hit ‘Refine’ to filter brands by product type, gender, where the brand ships to, price, values, and location. You can also sort by ‘Top Rated’ or ‘Newly Rated’, that way you always know which brands are doing the best or have just been rated for their impact.
On the Good On You Directory
Go to the Directory, select a Category like ‘Tops’, hit Refine to the right of the Category name, then select the Location filter. Enter your desired location, and scroll to see the best rated brands from your chosen area!
On the Good On You app
Go to the app, tap Browse By Category and choose one like ‘Dresses & Playsuits’, tap Refine Search just below and to the right of the Category name, then tap Location under the Filter By subheading. Either select one of the available regions, or enter your desired location. Tap Done then Apply, and scroll to see the best rated brands from your chosen area!
