Find beautiful, functional, and size-inclusive womenswear for the adventure-seekers at new fashion marketplace, Eleventh House.

Adventure-seeking fashion lovers unite

For the eco-minded adventurer, finding apparel that matches your values, fits perfectly, performs well, and looks great can be a challenge. New online marketplace Eleventh House has tackled the mammoth task with its artfully curated selection of womenswear across highly-rated brands with inclusive sizing.

I believe you shouldn’t have to choose between products that look good, function well, and are better for the environment. All three of those things can—and should—coexist together.

Danielle McMahon – founder

As a working apparel designer for the last decade, founder Danielle McMahon understands first hand the impact the fashion industry has on the environment.

“I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and it was difficult for me to find a place I could shop eco-friendly apparel all in one place that offered an aesthetically pleasing assortment of goods that also performed well,” she tells us. “Since I couldn’t find it, I decided to create it.”

Where fashion, form, and function meet

Launched in North Carolina in 2022, Eleventh House believes that sustainability as it pertains to apparel shouldn’t be the exception anymore, it should be the norm. A multi-brand e-commerce destination for artfully curated, lower-impact apparel and lifestyle goods for the adventurous woman, the store is inclusive, accessible, and fit-obsessed.

Consciously curated brands

In order to earn a spot in Eleventh House’s line-up, brands must meet a certain set of criteria: look great, leave a light impact, and perform well. They must also score “It’s a Start” or above in our brand directory. There’s no more need for trade-offs when you’re in the market for adventure gear with the store’s inclusive collection of apparel, which will expand in 2023 to include bags, footwear, and foundation garments such as bras and underwear, so it will truly be a one-stop-shop for womenswear in the active and outdoor spaces.

Our store is inclusive, accessible, and fit-obsessed. We care about function as much as fashion, and customers can shop confidently knowing that every piece is ethically-sourced and sustainably-manufactured.

Doing their part for the planet

When it comes to behind the scenes at Eleventh House, by only stocking brands committed to doing better by the environment, the retailer is leaving a lighter impact on the planet than your typical online store.

The team also wanted to ensure it ships as responsibly as possible. It uses Cloverly to help offset the cost of its carbon footprint created by shipping, and only uses shipping materials created from 100% post-consumer waste, which are 100% recyclable including the “poly” bags, shipping labels, the labels, and any extras included in the packages.

Favourite brands to support at Eleventh House

Eleventh House offers a range of products geared towards travel to and from your destination, to the event itself—whether it’s a hiking excursion, a yoga retreat, or a backpacking trip, and any time hanging out in between.

You can shop with peace of mind knowing Eleventh House stocks only highly-rated brands: “80% of the brands we carry are rated ‘Good’ or ‘Great’ by Good On You. The other 20% are rated ‘It’s a Start’,” says McMahon. “This means we only stock, promote, and partner with brands who are fully committed to doing better with sustainability, traceability, and transparency.” Here are some of the highlights you can find on the website.
